Eliminate what gets in the way of growing into the leader you want to be.

Leadership Coaching

You are the kind of leader who gets the job done and often exceeds expectations. But it comes at a cost.

You sense a mismatch between how you are showing up and how you want to show up, or between how you are experiencing the work and how you want to experience it. Leading feels effortful, rather than effortless.

Perhaps your team is not performing as well as they can and you are left doing the heavy lifting while feeling at once under-appreciated and under-engaged.

You know what you want to change, you keep trying, and yet you can’t get there.

What I’ve Found

We all have unconscious, deeply-held assumptions and “commitments”. They are a filter through which we make sense of our situation, and they drive our actions and behaviors.

When these assumptions drive conflict with what we want to achieve, they keep us stuck in the same patterns we’re trying to move away from.

The system in which we operate can reinforce these assumptions, preventing us from making the changes we seek, especially when the stakes are higher.

Together, we will bring these beliefs out of the shadows and observe – without judgment – how they influence your actions, and when they serve or hinder you. This will allow you to become more aware of what to do in any situation to help yourself and your team be at your best.

What Clients Say

“I realized how big the gap was between my leadership skills and the standards I held for myself, and how much untapped potential I might actually have (and we all may have to bring out the best in ourselves). Much more than I could even imagine.”

Andy Hay, CEO, Sysmex America, Inc.

“I have so much more awareness around WHY I’ve struggled to make the change.  Elise helped shed light on some of my internal conflicts of interest, and she showed me a path to follow.  This is practical & powerful stuff.  Future you will thank you for getting started.”

Chandler Stevens MCT, FMS

“I have a better understanding of my own motivation and biases that were getting in my way of being effective. I walked away from our work with greater self-insight and understanding, which has led to better interactions with my team.”

Tom Ruth, Vice-President, SCI REMC

MY APPROACH

Every leader is a complex individual with specific needs operating in a unique context. That’s why I don’t believe in however-many-steps cookie-cutter processes. Instead, you get a coach who listens deeply for how you make sense of things, to help you discover where the conflict lies and how to clear the way for what you want.

My engineering background strengthened my analytic, investigative mind to look for all the variables shaping a particular situation and understand how they interact. Together, we will co-design experiments to maximize your possibilities.
